Jennie said, “You might want to pack a lunch. You could be in the waiting room a long time.”
She was having a back procedure at the Brain and Spine Center.
“Ok,” I said.
When we got there, we sat down on a big couch in the waiting room. Jennie turned to me. “What did you pack?”
“Let me see.”
“Ok.” I held it out.
“Oh my gosh,” she said. “Most husbands would make a sandwich. But no. My husband puts cheese in a bag.”
