Everyday Dirtbag Entry #44.

It’s amazing what we’ll put ourselves through to send a climb:

(At least those of us who are obsessive)

Repeated efforts and failures.  Sweat.  Pump.  Abrasions.  Tweaked shoulders and tweaked backs.  Numb fingers, wrists, and toes.  Bad elbows.  Lost sleep.  Lack of focus.  An easily wandering mind.

To say nothing of the small nicks and dings we endure.

For example, these are a few of the gifts from my Saturday night session on “The Pain Crack Project”, Boyd Cave, Oregon.
